Rohs compliance,which took effect July 1, 2006, has established a new set of regulations in electronics products. As basic part
of electronics, PCBs are defnitely requested to be lead free.

Lead free hasl pcbs are cheapest compared to Immersion gold pcb, immersion silver pcbs, immersion tin pcbs, except
OSP pcbs. However, OSP surface finish has disadvantage of short storage time and get oxidized when open in the air.
Lead Fre hasl finish can be kept more time and is very good for soldering.

Lead Free hasl finish are now the most used surface finish on printed circuit production because of following advatanges:
