The Single-Sided PCB is the most basic printed circuit board and track is only available on one side of the insulating substrate.
The side containing the circuit pattern is called the solder side while the other side is called the component side.
The single-sided pcbs are manufactured originally by the print and etch method, however, with development of technology, the die
cut technique of using a die (either photoengraved or machine-engraved) that carries an image of the wiring patter are now widely
used to reduce the production cost.
Single-sided pcb can be seen in all kinds of electronics, like torch, led lighting, automotive electronics and so on.
